Was this the sun room from the pictures I looked at before you guys moved in? Where did you get the beds?-the are cute. I am anxious to see ALL of this in person!
This room really looks like a magazine picture to me! I love the chandalear (I can't spell!) and the big open windows. The lighting is just awesome! It looks like the perfect reading room for Bre! Is there any room that isn't perfect for reading though? :)
This room does look pretty good in this picture. It doesn't look quite as good in real life. there is wallpaper and a border up that I really want down. But i like a dark color on the wall and will probably repaint it a nice green. I think I will take the green dresser back to my room or paint it a different color for here if i do paint the walls green. I'd like to make a cushion for the cedar chest by the window like Beth made for Nicki. Where did you get the actual cushion from? This room I think was origionally a formal dinning room. See the chandelier and faux wood tiled floor. I think this room will look great eventually. There also are no doors on either doorway so i need a creative non-expensive fix for that. We got these bed frames from a furniture warehouse here pretty cheap. i do like this better that the bunk we had. Just a little nicer feel to it. We are still using the peiced from their bed set just not the bed frames and set up.
i thought about the fabric on the doorways. I kinda like that idea too. the door way on one side (there are two) is visible from the living room, so it needs to look nice. I also plan to price folding closet doors because they can be installed without door frames.
I like the fabric on the closet doors - I can use so much more of the space. But I don't know how it would be in place of a real door - you might want to be able to close the door when the kids are sleeping like if you have people over (especially if it's off the main living area). You probably thought of that though - and you're kids are so well behaved they would go to sleep regardless of distraction!
I actually got on and looked- are you surprised? About the girls' doors- we got folding closet doors for Nate's study that is just off our family room. I was afraid they would look cheap and makeshift, but they actually look nice. Easy to install and much cheaper than a real door!
The girls room is so cute! My girls all like it, too. Tori noticed that Breanna was reading a Boxcar Children book--she nearly freaked out! She loves those, too, and was excited to see that she and Bree share an interest!

Are you going to leave your green stuff in there or move it to your room eventually?

Use fabric for doorways! I love that look. Esther how do like yours or do you not have the curtain closet doors in the new place?
