I was using old diaper boxes under Zoe's crib to store her diapers and supplies. I used wrapping paper and adhesive to make them more attractive. Since I'll have more of these boxes around for another year or so I plan to utilize them like this in Bre and Mik's room as well. Fabric would also look great and the inside could be lined as well. This was just a quick experiment but I think they turned out pretty good.

I love them. I've actually thought about doing the same thing - but you know me and my craftyness; it has been easily set aside for another day. I think my first problem is that I wouldn't know where to get "adhesive" - sounds more speciallized than "glue"! See, I'm so not crafty!
Esther - I'm right there with you! The idea is fantastic!!! Getting it done - not so much. They look great Anna!
I love that idea!! I just threw away TWO diaper boxes. . .but where would I put them?! Ditto on the getting it done--I might start it, but then Beth Stamper would have to come help me finish it:)
Are you kidding Nic? Anna- keep posting! We love your ideas. You're trying to stay the favorite- I can tell. J/K of course (I have to write that since it's hard to read sarcasm into these comments!). Did you use the spray glue?
Anna, I love this idea! I'm going to try this as I begin to get organized for our move this summer. Yes, we're finally moving! It looks like end of July or early August, so I have lots of time to dejunk and organize so the move goes well. Keep these great ideas coming!!! :-)
That's such a good idea. i'll have to remember that for the future. you're very creative.

I've gotten lots of feedback from my last post. Just to clear up a misunderstanding. . . we're moving off-campus, not away from NBBC.
Anna- so glad to have found your blog! Thanks for the great decorating tips. I am not creative in that regard at all. I just copy ideas I see in Pottery Barn, etc. My dad had just heard from Josh right when you moved. We were in Lancaster for Sight & Sound at Christmas, which isn't far from where my parents are now. One of these days we'll have to look you up! Take care!
Hi, Anna! Your house does look great and your kids are so sweet. I was wondering if you could help me get in touch with Tami. I worked with her my last year at N-land and she was my hairdresser, too!

Superb idea! I think I'll try it! THanks for sharing your creativity!

Anna!! Great Idea. I have to let you know that great minds must think alike because I started saving my boxes about 1 month ago to do the same thing with. The little baskets in the store are so cute, but they can be expensive, so I figured I would just cover the boxes with fabric. however, I had not thought of doing it with wrapping paper. That would be easier and cheaper than fabric!! Thanks for the tip
What a great idea. I have a few of these in my mud room closet. I am just figuring out this "blog" thing - what fun! So many old friends to get in touch with. Oh, by the way, this is Beth Mo. We sure do miss having you guys around!
Hey--pictures please!! Zoe pictures. ..remember--OH and I want to see before and after pictures of the girls' room too:)
I'm anxious to see the girls room too - I'll call you soon!
